Gasland Horizon confirmed as exclusive piped gas distributor across its Delta and Anambra franchise zones

Gasland Horizon Company Limited (RC 1123828), in joint venture with NNPC Gas Marketing Limited, has confirmed its role as the exclusive franchise holder for piped natural gas distribution across its development areas in Delta and Anambra States. The zones include Awka, the Anambra Mixed Use Industrial City (AMIC), the Oghara-Sapele corridor, Ibusa and Ogidigben.
The confirmation positions Gasland Horizon as the energy backbone for industry, power generation and large developments across the two states. With grid supply unreliable and diesel expensive, businesses that locate in these zones and need dependable, affordable power increasingly turn to piped natural gas for on-site and captive generation, process heat and feedstock. In each of its franchise zones, that piped gas is supplied through Gasland Horizon. Other suppliers may deliver gas by compressed natural gas or other means; the piped natural gas network in each zone is Gasland Horizon's exclusive franchise.

Awka, the Anambra State capital, is the joint venture's flagship area, with approximately 2.85 MMSCFD of committed industrial demand already documented across anchor customers. Development in the other zones is sequenced against verified demand, with Ogidigben tied to the planned Ogidigben Gas Industrial Park.
Every supply arrangement is anchored by a Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement to which both NNPC Gas Marketing Limited and Gasland Horizon are named parties, giving customers the assurance of the national gas marketing company behind their supply.
