Our Joint Venture with NNPC Gas Marketing Limited

In 2025, Gasland Horizon executed an Unincorporated Joint Venture Agreement with NNPC Gas Marketing Limited (NGML), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited. The joint venture, the NGML-Gasland Horizon Delta and Anambra State Gas Distribution JV, was established to deepen domestic gas utilisation in line with the policy drive of the Federal Government of Nigeria. This work aligns with the objectives of the NNPC Gas Master Plan and the Federal Government's Decade of Gas initiative, which prioritise deepening domestic gas use, strengthening supply to industrial off-takers, and closing the gas infrastructure gap across the country.

NNPC Gas Marketing Limited and Gasland Horizon Company Limited: a strategic partnership powering industry and energizing Nigeria
  • NGML is responsible for sourcing and supplying natural gas and provides the regulatory and institutional backing of the NNPC group.
  • Gasland Horizon is responsible for financing, developing and constructing the gas delivery infrastructure, including pipelines, spur lines and pressure regulation and metering stations.
  • Customers contract directly with the joint venture. Both NGML and Gasland Horizon are named parties to every Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement.

Our Mission
